Painting fun | Malovacia zabava

As we say in Slovakia, one is not alive by food only, and thus I signed up for an acrylic painting workshop for beginners at Phnom Penh Community College at the last minute. I had almost no expectations, just to find out how it is to paint with acrylic colors and to spend one day away from the screens, doing something I have not done before.

We started with few exercises focusing on working with the colors and their application and in the second part we painted a copy of a painting we chose on a canvas. I had no ambitions to copy Van Gogh or so, because in the end, the only thing I want to have hanging on the wall are colorful flowers. And thus I googled flowers and painted those.

For sure there is no Van Gogh hiding in me, but I had an awesome day and I’ll have flowers hanging on our wall :)
Van Gogh zo mna nebude, ale mala som skvelý deň a na stene mi budú visieť kvety :)
